Afandou Information

Afandou beach is the longest beach on the island of Rhodes, is here and ready to welcome you for a memorable holiday or just a day on the beach.

Maintained and cared for by the local community, it is always nice and clean. On the beach you will find Sun beds, Umbrellas, a variety of Snack Bars, Fish Tavernas and Restaurants that will serve a variety of Greek and International dishes.

The crystal clear waters of Afandou bay, in combination with the superb pebbly beach and the Afandou Golf course, attract thousands of visitors from Greece, Europe and many other countries.

The town square is full of life with its modern cafe-bars and all kinds of shops.

Taxis, busses and the local little train pictured here, are all passing through the town square.

Under the guidance of their mayor, the town has undergone a facelift and managed to become one of the most frequently visited tourist destinations in Rhodes.

There are plenty of Hotels and Apartment houses and accommodation would not be a problem at all.
